AD_Cluster_Service_Settings
- Name:AD_Cluster_Service_Settings
- Classname:ADClusterServiceSettings
This table contains the following columns:
Name | Nullable | Data Type | Description
|
AD_Cluster_Service_Settings_ID | No | VARCHAR (32) | A table used for configuring settings of a particular cluster service. |
Isactive | No | CHAR (1) | There are two methods of making records unavailable in the system: One is to delete the record, the other is to de-activate the record. A de-activated record is not available for selection, but available for reporting. There are two reasons for de-activating and not deleting records:
(1) The system requires the record for auditing purposes. (2) The record is referenced by other records. E.g., you cannot delete a Business Partner, if there are existing invoices for it. By de-activating the Business Partner you prevent it from being used in future transactions. |
AD_Client_ID | No | VARCHAR (32) | A Client is a company or a legal entity. You cannot share data between Clients. |
Createdby | No | VARCHAR (32) | The Created By field indicates the user who created this record. |
Created | No | TIMESTAMP (7) | The Created field indicates the date that this record was created. |
AD_Org_ID | No | VARCHAR (32) | An organization is a unit of your client or legal entity - examples are store, department. You can share data between organizations. |
Service | No | VARCHAR (60) | A service that supports working in a clustered environment. |
Timeout | No | DECIMAL (10,0) | The timeout is the frequency (in seconds) which the ping for a cluster service is done, i.e., it represents the amount of time that should pass for the cluster node in charge of a cluster service to reaffirm itself as the leader. It is also used as a reference for the rest of the nodes in the cluster to determine if the leader is no longer alive and therefore if a new node should be promoted as the leader of the cluster service. Please note that it will be required to restart all the nodes in the cluster if this value is changed in order to make the new value visible for the entire cluster. |
Timeout_Threshold | No | DECIMAL (10,0) | Specifies how much, as a percentage, a timeout can be delayed before another instance takes charge of a service. For instance, if timeout is 10s:
- A threshold of 10 means that after 10+(10*10/100)=11s with no ping from the instance that owns the service, other instance may take charge - A threshold of 50 means that after 10+(10*50/100)=15s with no ping from the instance that owns the service, other instance may take charge - A threshold of 200 means that after 10+(10*200/100)=30s with no ping from the instance that owns the service, other instance may take charge |
Updated | No | TIMESTAMP (7) | The Updated field indicates the date that this record was updated. |
Updatedby | No | VARCHAR (32) | The Updated By field indicates the user who updated this record. |
