Introduction

One of the first steps to take while setting up Openbravo is to define the master data to be used across other Openbravo application areas.

Openbravo "Master Data Management" helps to organize and centralize in a single repository the key data of the organization.

Having a single repository of data:

Business Partner Setup

The "Business Partner Setup" folder allows you to separately define the basic configuration of the company business partners.
Configuration which implies the creation of categories to group business partners for management purposes, or the creation of the discounts agreed with them, among others.

Product Setup

The "Product Setup" folder allows you to separately define the basic configuration of the company products.
Configuration which implies the creation of categories to group similar products, or the creation of product units of measure or attributes, among others.

Pricing

The "Pricing" folder allows you to separately setup the basic configuration of the company pricing.
