Monitoring and Managing Registered Servers
Introduction
All the store servers must be registered in the main server in order to establish the database synchronization. This is done automatically when the store server is started.
The Registered Server Window
In the main server, the Registered Server window displays all the store servers that are currently registered. For each registered store server this window shows:
- The mobile server search key. That key is used as unique identifier for the servers.
- The server status (obtained from the Mobile Servers window)
- A flag that shows if that server currently has any synchronization error. If that flag is checked, then the Synchronization Errors window can be used to solve the error.
- A flag to show if replication has been halted for that store server. It can be restarted with a new button which shows for these records.
The Unregister Server process can be invoked on a registered server, and it will unregister it from the main server. That server will not be registered again until SymmetricDS is uninstalled and Tomcat started in that server.
