What is Openbravo 2.35 Maintenance Pack 1

Openbravo 2.35 MP1 is the first stabilization pack for release 2.35 and it includes fixes for 35 severe or critical issues.

Openbravo 2.35 MP1 does not provide any additional functionality and it is intended for production usage.

Users wishing to deploy a new instance of Openbravo are recommended to install 2.35 MP1 directly.

Users currently running Openbravo 2.35 are strongly recommended to apply the maintenance pack.

Users running earlier versions of Openbravo must upgrade to 2.35 before applying the maintenance pack.

Openbravo 2.35 MP1 is compatible with charts of accounts (files in the openbravo-accounting package) and translations (files in the openbravo-translations) for 2.35.

Installing Openbravo 2.35 MP1 to a new instance

You can download Openbravo 2.35 MP 1 from SourceForge and install it following our quick installation guide.

Applying Openbravo 2.35 MP1 to an existing instance

Openbravo 2.35 MP1 can be applied to existing 2.35 releases by using the corresponding Upgrader.

Known issues

• 1824274 AT235: Installer does not create attach directory
• 1855639 AT235MP1: Wrong PostgreSQL version warning during install
• 1857004 DBA_RECOMPILE does not compile in PostgreSQL
• Openbravo ERP R.35 MP1 is not compatible with PostgreSQL 8.3 (version 8.2 is recommended)
• Openbravo ERP R.35 MP1 does not integrate correctly with Openbravo POS. See Openbravo POS release notes for a solution.

Release status

Openbravo 2.35 MP1 is intended for production usage.

This release has gone through extensive QA testing and community acceptance testing. This release is currently in production at sevaral customer sites.

Please notice that, as of May 12, 2008, this maintenance pack is superseded by a more recent pack, Openbravo 2.35 MP4.
