What is Openbravo 2.35 Maintenance Pack 4

Openbravo 2.35 MP4 is a stabilization pack for release 2.35 and it includes fixes for 85 severe or critical issues compared to Openbravo 2.35 MP1.

Openbravo 2.35 MP4 does not provide any additional functionality and it is intended for production usage.

Users wishing to deploy a new instance of Openbravo are recommended to install 2.35 MP4 directly.

Users currently running Openbravo 2.35 are strongly recommended to apply the maintenance pack.

Users running earlier versions of Openbravo must upgrade to 2.35 before applying the maintenance pack.

Openbravo 2.35 MP4 is compatible with charts of accounts (files in the openbravo-accounting package) and translations (files in the openbravo-translations) for 2.35.

Why is it called Maintenance Pack 4?

Openbravo 2.35 MP4 is the fourth stabilization pack for release 2.35. However, the second and third pack (MP2 and MP3 respectively) have not been publicly released.

Installing Openbravo 2.35 MP4 to a new instance

You can download Openbravo 2.35 MP 4 from SourceForge and install it following our quick installation guide.

Applying Openbravo 2.35 MP4 to an existing instance

Openbravo 2.35 MP4 can be applied to existing 2.35 releases by using the corresponding Upgrader. The 2.35MP1 to 2.35 MP4 Upgrader will be available some days after the release of the maintenance pack (estimated date: July 1st 2008)

Known issues

• 242 Default installation directory do not let me continue in Postgres
• 443 It is not possible to process an inventory

Release status

Openbravo 2.35 MP4 is intended for production usage.

This release has gone through extensive QA testing and community acceptance testing. As of its release on May 10th 2008, it is not know to be in production any customer site.
