Projects:Login Process Perfomance Improvements/QA

Automatic Tests

This project does not add new features but it refactors some elements involved in the log-in process like the quick create/launch menus, the application menu and the session dynamic resources. The automatic tests currently covering the usage of those elements should be enough to ensure that they continue working fine.

This project aims to improve performance and the scalability by reducing the number of requests, data transferred and time spent by the log-in process. The results achieved are summarized in the following sheet. It has been possible to reduce the number of requests in a 27%, the login is an 8% faster and regarding the content that can not be cached we are transferring around 2% less of data.
