Projects:Store Server Process Requests
This project covers the topic of how to schedule and maintain process requests in a multi-server environment with store servers.
An organization can have many store servers and it is not possible for them to manage process request scheduling by going to each store server through the standard OB backoffice UI. Also the backoffice UI will be disabled for standard backoffice ERP access.
The approach proposed for this project is to maintain the process scheduling on a store server from the central server backoffice UI.
The following main features should be supported through the central server backoffice UI:
- Creating process requests and defining their run-schedule
- (Re)Schedule and unschedule a process request on one or more store servers
- View the status of a process request on a store server
- View log statements of a process requests on a store server
