What's New
![]() | With 3.0PR18Q4 a new major version of the Openbravo Appliance 18.04 is available.
Additionally, the 3.0PR18Q4 release requires this new Appliance version and cannot be used with the older Appliance 14.04. In general, going forward Appliance 18.04 should be used for any new installation. Apart from it, we also strongly recommend migrating existing installations to it. Hibernate upgraded to 5.3: Upgraded Hibernate library to 5.3 version which is currently the latest stable.
Create Lines From (Invoice windows) refactor: Refactor Create Lines From process in Purchase and Sales Invoice windows using the P&E pattern thus improving the User Experience and general performance
Raise minimum supported Java version to 8: Openbravo requires now Java 8 at least.
Configurable email timeout: It is possible to configure a time out for sending emails, so in case an email cannot be sent during that time, it is cancelled, preventing in this way stuck requests to email servers.
Fixed issues
- 38864: Problems in 'Add Details' (Payment In) when autodistribute amount property is disabled.
- 38886: Performance problem in End Year Close | Accounting tab.
- 38922: The variants of a product are not shown.
- 39017: Performance issue in Requisition To Order window.
- 39168: A payment can be reversed more than once with slow network connection.
- 39171: Reset Accounting: performance problem executing unpost functionality with big database.
- 39060: reports randomly not downloaded using different server names
- 39014: unneeded queries to count active alerts
- 38922: The variants of a product are not shown.
- 38524: can't configure timeout for sending emails
- 39261: connection leak when printing image on subreports using the Utility.showImageLogo method

Known issues
Extensions
There is a vast array of modules that extend the functionality of the Openbravo Business Suite. These include Extensions, Connectors, Localizations, Vertical and Horizontal Solutions, and Tools.
During this release following modules were created / updated:
SAP ECC Integration: Base infrastructure for the integration with SAP
EDL for Advanced Warehouse Operations: Initial Data Load capabilities for Advanced Warehouse Operation entities based on EDL framework
AWO: General Improvements in Customer Support: Small projects requested by existing AWO customers as general improvements:
* 38533: Verbosity log now shows information about original document and warehouse as new fields in header
* 38528: Ability to assign/unassign multiple tasks at the same time
* 38537: Show quantity in AUM in Task tabs
* 38748: Add extra validations to Warehouse Configuration Check processAWO: Move and PutAway for Referenced Inventory: Allow Move and PutAway actions in Referenced Inventory
AWO: Spanish (Spain) translation: Create Spanish translation (es_ES) for Advanced Warehouse Operations modules
BOM Versions: This module adds the ability to create BOM Versions for a certain "Bill Of Material" product
Customer Relationship Management (CRM): Customer relationship management (CRM) is an approach to managing a company's interaction with current and potential customers. It uses data analysis about customers' history with a company and to improve business relationships with customers, specifically focusing on customer attraction, retention and ultimately driving sales growth
