|
Introduction
Starting from 3.0RR16Q3, the visualization and information of Discounts and Promotions (from now D&P) applied in the WebPOS have been changed.
Pattern
Grouped products (defined in the ERP as “Grouped”)
For those D&P that may affect to several lines of the ticket
Behavior
In this case, units not consumed by the discount, will be kept in the same line. If the promotion has been applied more than once (e.g. a ticket with 6 products that participates in a 3 x 2 promotion), it will show the number of times the promotions have been applied (in this case, 2).
D&P affected
- The promotions applicable to this case are:
- Buy X Pay X of different products.
- Buy X Gift Y.
- Combo.
- Two families Combo.
- Pack.
Visual examples
- Example with Combos
- In this case, we have added enough products to apply twice the 'Torch and Backpack combo' discount. We don't split those products that don't participate in the promotion (in this case, 1 unit of Backpack CB1 25l).
- Example with BuyXPayY of different products
- In this case, we can also apply twice the '3 x 2 - Bottles' discount. In this case, we want to discount the product with the lowest price. The additional unit of 'Bottle 1L' is kept in the same line.
- Example with Packs
- We have defined 2 packs:
- Pack 1 - Camping Pack
- 2 units of Down Sleeping bag 500.
- 1 unit of Expedition tent 4 season 2 person.
- Pack 2 - Camping Pack Plus
- 2 units of Down Sleeping bag 500.
- 1 unit of Expedition tent 4 season 2 person.
- 1 unit of Camel bak 3 L.
- Pack 1 - Camping Pack
- In this case, we added two packs of Camping Pack and one of Camping Pack Plus. The products are not split by pack and the lines indicate the number of times each pack has been applied.
- We have defined 2 packs:
For those D&P that affects only to one line of the ticket
Behavior
In this case, the units not consumed by the discount, will be kept in the same line. If the promotion has been applied more than once, it'll be shown the number of times the promotion has been applied (the same as the other case).
D&P affected
- The promotions applicable to this case are:
- Buy X Pay X of same products.
- Price Adjustment.
- All discretionary discounts.
- User defined discounts.
- Scalable discounts.
Visual examples
- Example with BuyXPayY of same products
- In this case, we have added enough products to apply once the 'Sun cream + lip stick' discount. We don't split those products that don't participate in the promotion (in this case, 1 unit of 'Sun cream + lip stick').
Other D&P not reflected in the other cases
Behavior
In these cases, the total discount is divided between the lines affected by the discount, showing it's proportional part (depending its number of units and price).
D&P affected
- The promotions are:
- Discount per total: This discount is calculated when the receipt achieve the total necessary to be applied.
- Discount per payment method: This discount is calculated when the user add a specific payment to the ticket.
Visual examples
- Example with Discount per total promotion
- In this case, we had a discount of 100€ if we spent 1000€.
Non Grouped products (defined in the ERP as “Not Grouped”)
For all types of D&P
Behavior
In all cases, the promotions must be split for each line, showing the proportional part that must be applied to each line.
D&P affected
- All promotions and discount types.
Visual examples
- Example with BuyXPayY of different products
- In this case, the line that will be discounted has the information of the promotion applied.
- Example with Fixed Percentage discount
- In this case, the promotion is not merged and each line has it's proportional discount.
