Talk:Assets India
Introduction
I think it is key to explain what the relation between existing Openbravo Fixed Assets functionality and the Assets localization for India is here: Assest India introduction wiki page.
India localization is an addition to the Openbravo Assets functionality. We need to explain that. We need to explain What this functionality exactly provides.
In my opinion to say something like this: "A fixed asset register is an accounting method used for major resources of a business" do not help to understand what this functionality is about. An accounting method??? I do not understand that but a window and a report that provides asset depreciation information in a summary way (per year)....
User Manual
Once more there was not a Configuration and Usability section. I've created Usability section. Please check whether I've done it in the correct place.
This section Content of the module should briefly explain:
- what is exactly meant by this "A fixed asset register is an accounting method used for major resources of a business"
- as well as what is the information/data contained in the Assets Register Reports
In this section Fixed Assets Register, we should explain below fields:
- Opening Balance
- Normal Depreciation
- Total Depreciation
- and Cumulative Balance.
And state that Asset Register is in fact the Asset, and that those amount values refer to a given year.
in this section Asset Register Report we should explain the additional fields shown, that are:
- Net Block
- Sale/transfer/adjustment
- date of transfer
- total depreciation claimed still date, by whom..regardless I think those fields can not be populated, is that right??
