Workstation
A coordinated group of machines, processes, and toolset processes, setup in order to organize the competition of a task.
Process
Required actions using toolsets toward the purpose of completing a task.
Toolset
Required group of objects for use in processes.
Machine
Devices used in the company manufacturing process.
Cost Center
Any organized entity that add to the cost of the organization, but only indirectly adds to profits. For example, the cost of a workstation per hour.
Cost Center UOM
Units of measure for a cost center, for example costs per hour.
Periodic Control
The control actions to ensure the quality of the product. For example, making sure that a baseball color is white.
Critical Control Point
Planned Checks with pre-determined frequency. For example, checking the temperature of oil every three hours. The different between this and periodic control is the ability to set the frequency, and list required tasks and accountable personnel.
