Definition

Project Type creates templates to be used in service management, standardizing the process. In the Project (Service) window, users select a project template to begin the process. This means that every time a user selects a specific template, they will see 1 set of phases and tasks to be completed, clearly reducing variability.

Tabs

• Project Types: Describes and creates a new type of project.
• Standard Phase: Lists the different chronological steps required to complete the project.
• Standard Task: Lists responsibilities and processes required to complete each phase.

Process Information

A project is made up of many phases. A phase may have many tasks.
