Definition
Work Effort is defined as documents filled in by employees as they complete specific aspects of the work requirements phases. These documents reflect what has already been done in order to calculate the real cost of production comparing it to the originally planned cost. For every work effort, employees, date, start/finish hours, are introduced. Additionally it is possible to introduce the accidents or any other issues which may have arisen.
Tabs
- Employees: In this tab, the user can introduce all employees who take part in the work effort. The employees that appear in this tab must be previously defined as business partners, and marked as employees and workers.
- Incidence: Allows the user to introduce all incidences that could occur during the production process. Incidences are defined in the production rules.
- Global Use: In this tab, the global use products are introduced. A product to be introduced in this tab, must be marked as a global use in the production run tab in the work requirement window. Once a production run is processed, the global use products will be proportionally divided through all production runs.
- Production Run: In this tab, the user introduces the completion of the phases of the work requirements.
- Product: The input and output products are introduced here. The used quantities the Attribute Set Instances have to be defined in any particular case.
- Toolset: In this tab the user introduces the toolsets used in the production run. It is possible to indicate the usage number of an individual toolset.
Process Information
- Validate Work Effort: Using this process found in the Work Effort tab, the user can close the work effort. In this case, the product stock is updated and standard costs are calculated. This process is executed only when the work effort is completed.
- Generate standards: Found in the Production Run tab, this button allows the user to automatically introduce the necessary products and toolsets for the selected phase. Additionally it is necessary to indicate the use of Cost Centers in order to calculate the average production run costs.
