Definition
Work requirements are defined documents that execute a selected fabrication of a product based on the map a previously defined process plan. Every work requirement that is launched is to done so in order to produce a certain product quantity. However it is possible that the result could be multiple products.
Tabs
- Work Requirement: Selects a previously defined process plan and defines quantity, creating a automatic calculation toward which products
- Work Requirement Phase: In this tab, all work requirements phases are defined. Each phase corresponds to a sequence of a selected process plan.
- Product: The input and output products of the phase are introduced here. Each work requirements phase product corresponds to the Process Plan Sequence Product.
The second and third tabs are filled in automatically.
Process Information
To correctly complete the work requirements, it is necessary to know the following the characteristics:
- Production plan that is followed during the product manufacturing process.
- Quantity to be produced
- The launch date of the work requirement
- The start and end date for the work requirement. These dates are approximate and are non-binding meaning that they can be changed without damaging the system or data.
Work Requirements
Using the “Work Requirement Process” button the user can automatically introduce all the phases which correspond to the sequences of a selected process plan. Also the corresponding sequence products are introduced in the product tab. In case the checkbox “Explode phases” in the chosen process plan is deactivated the work requirement phases is to be introduced manually.
Work Requirement Phase
Although, the work requirement phases are generated based on a chosen process plan, it is possible to modify any parameter of a desired phase and included products. In each phase the user can see the quantity to be produced, quantity completed. Additionally using the “Close Phase” button it is to close the work requirement phase. If all the phases are closed the work requirement will also be closed.
