User Manual 2.40/Registration

When the System Administrator logs into Openbravo ERP for the second time, a popup window is displayed explaining the Registration process and giving the user the option to register, or leaving the decision until a later date. If Register is chosen, the user is redirected to the Register to enter their details. If declined, Registration is disabled. If the decision to register is postponed, the System Administrator will be prompted with the popup again after 3 days.

On registration, we only collect the data set out in the form. The fields with yellow background are obligatory. This registration data is stored in a file controlled by Openbravo S.L.U. It is collected and processed to assist managing your Openbravo product installation and use, communicating with you and managing the relationship between you and Openbravo S.L.U. Openbravo may send you certain technical information (including updates and upgrades), commercial offers and other relevant information. This data will also be used on an aggregated and anonymous basis to generate reports identifying where and how the Openbravo product is being utilised.

Openbravo stores this information on servers in the USA and implements security measures in accordance with applicable legislation to maintain the confidentiality of this data. This data is not used for purposes other than as set out above. It is not communicated or transferred in an identifiable form to any third party.

You may deactivate this feature by disabling the “activate registration” box and clicking on “update registration”. In addition, you may exercise your right to access, rectify, oppose and cancel the data by writing to Openbravo, S.L.U.
