Definition
Physical Inventory is defined as the process of manually counting stock at a specific date and time. Companies may conduct physical inventory to get a count, test the condition of materials, and confirm data as given by statistics on hand.
Tabs
- Inventory Count: The user defines and maintain various inventory counts. In each count, the user has to indicate the specific warehouse involved as well as the date.
- Inventory Count Line: Shows stock and quantities of products in the inventory.
Process Information
- Once the inventory lists are generated, it is possible to add or delete products.
- Quantities on hand can be modified and a specific list exists to regulate the warehouse.
- Once the inventory count is processed, it is not possible to modify content.
- Create Inventory Count List: this button allows the user to create inventory count lines with the possibility of filtering by warehouse position or product category. If the count option is activated, the application creates the product list with a 0 amount.
- Update Amount: this button updates the total amount with the theoretical amount in all line counts
- Inventory Count Process: this button updates warehouse values with lines formed in this inventory.
