Shipment (customer) window

Definition

A shipment is defined as the process of sending products from the warehouse to the desired external location.

Tabs

• Shipment: Describes and creates a new shipment
• Shipment Line: Defines individual items to be shipped

Process Information

• In the shipment (client) window, the user can define shipments to clients, and update product stock of the warehouse. Using the create from button, the user automatically generates a shipment from the sales order.

• If the Freight Cost Rule is in the Calculated mode it is necessary to choose a Shipper, Freight Category, and define the number of packages. Once necessary data is defined, the button Calculate Freight Amount calculates the amount of the transport. The button also gives the possibility of looking for the cheapest carrier and of calculating the number of packages.

• The goods receipt can also be created manually adding warehouse lines with products, quantities, and corresponding warehouses.
